Deposit Policy

For the purposes of this document, the terms ‘we,’ 'our,' and ‘us’ refer to Luna Lux International. The terms ‘you’ and ‘your’ refer to the client. ‘General sale’ refers to our collection of products available for immediate purchase by members of the public. 'Deposit' refers to an amount of money paid towards the purchase of a good or service that is not full cost of the item.

Deposits

On some occasions, clients may wish to pay a portion of the price of a product, in order to remove it from general sale and purchase at a later date. Furthermore, an initial deposit is required for certain services we provide, such as Sourcing.
Our deposit policy is outlined below:

All deposits are strictly non-refundable.

By placing a deposit, you are entering into a binding agreement to purchase the reserved item. The deposit is a commitment fee that compensates us for the administrative costs, opportunity cost, and the removal of the item from the public market.

This policy applies regardless of circumstance, including but not limited to:

  • Change of heart or personal financial circumstances.
  • Discovering an alternative item.
  • Inability to complete the remaining balance payment.

Please be certain of your purchase before placing a deposit.

Deposit Amount & Payment

  • The standard deposit is 30% of the total purchase price
  • Alternative deposit amounts may be specified for certain highly-sought after or limited quantity items.
  • Deposits must be paid in full via bank wire transfer or another-agreed upon method to be considered valid.

Final Payment & Fulfillment 

  • Upon receipt of your deposit, the item will be officially marked as "Reserved" and will be held for you for a period of 7 calendar days.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full within this 7-day window.
  • Once the final payment is received and cleared, we will immediately process your order for secured, insured shipping.

Failure to Complete Purchase

If the remaining balance is not received within the 7-day reservation period, your reservation on the item will be released. The item will then be made available for purchase by other clients.
